We have created four ways to study the Book of Exodus, as an individual, in meetings of parish and diocese, in adult forums, and at Diocesan-wide events such as conferences and convocations. Many of our parishes have adult forums every Sunday, and we’re hoping that the video courses included on this page will relieve some of the work of the committees and commissions that plan the forums, by giving them a pre-built presentation and discussion. Many of our parishes don’t have the resources to allow them to hold adult forums every Sunday. We’re providing those resources. Regardless of the size or wealth of a parish, the only thing needed to present these videos is a computer and an internet connection. If you have a projector and a screen, that’s great, but there’s no reason why three or four people gathered together between services won’t get as much out of these course as a hundred people.
On this page you will find links to the videos and discussion questions that are used in the courses. As of the date of this writing (June 22, 2017), only one video has been completed, but more will be added in the coming months.
And here is a working list of the other videos we’ll be offering:
Exodus, the Church, and Youth and Young Adults, taught by Dan Carlson
Our Exodus Stories, Part I & Part II, taught by the Rev. Michael Smith
The Geology and Geography of the Holy Land, taught by the Rev. William Sangray
